On Global journeys: travel brochure design and brand identity for Expo World Travel
A standout corporate travel management brochure design can do more than inform – it can inspire confidence, open doors, and win global clients. That was the case for Expo World Travel. What began as a Surrey based startup brand identity and brochure project grew into a long-term creative partnership – with a modular, strategic brochure still in use over a decade later.

In 2012, Expo World Travel approached Chris HeightOn with a challenge: create a compelling brand identity and a flagship brochure that would position their new startup as a serious, service-led player in global event travel. That collaboration didn’t just launch a brand – it helped lay the creative foundations for what would become Expo World Group.
What followed was a bespoke branding project built around precision, clarity and purpose – centred on a standout corporate travel management brochure design that remains in active use today, 12 years on. On Brand and brochure: built for business
Expo World Travel is a specialist in co-ordinated travel services for businesses attending exhibitions, trade fairs and conferences worldwide. Their mission – to handle everything from hotel bookings and flights to on-site support – needed to be clearly articulated in both their branding and print materials.
Working directly with founder Glynn Clarke, Chris HeightOn crafted a brand identity rooted in professionalism, trust and attention to detail. The visual identity was built to scale and flex – a smart, polished look that helped open conversations with high-profile prospects from day one.
The flagship sales tool? A bespoke travel brochure design featuring a custom die-cut slipcase and a suite of modular inserts – each covering a core service pillar: Research, Source, Manage, Assist. This approach allowed Expo to tailor their pitch for each client while reinforcing their complete end-to-end offering.

On Travel services: brochure design that still delivers
The brochure wasn’t just about good design – it was strategic. Each insert detailed Expo’s distinct approach:
- Research – A global database of venue-adjacent hotels and meeting spaces tailored by budget and brief.
- Source – Fully tailored itineraries for each team member, factoring in logistics, budgets and individual preferences.
- Manage – Co-ordinated travel schedules across flights, transfers and hotel stays – down to the last detail.
- Assist – 24/7 on-site support from dedicated experts who act as part of your team throughout your stay.

Combined, these inserts told a clear, compelling story: that Expo World Travel takes care of everything, so clients can focus on their business.
Twelve years later, this modular brochure still plays a key role in Expo’s sales process – a testament to the longevity of thoughtful, strategic travel brand identity design.

On Delivery: better by design, On brand, in hand and On device
At HeightOn, we’re Big On Better – and that philosophy is built into everything we do. From the initial brand identity to the travel brochure design, our aim was to create a consistent experience across all brand touchpoints – in print, online, and on device.
This meant delivering more than a beautiful brochure. It meant crafting a brand system that worked just as powerfully across mobile, email and screen. From scalable assets to digital-ready templates, we ensured Expo’s identity remained strong and effective – wherever and however it was seen.Because travel clients expect seamless interactions. That’s why we design with digital in mind – making every touchpoint count, from first contact to follow-up. That’s better brand experience. That’s Big On Better.

On Growth: trusted by global brands
The branding and brochure helped Expo land major international clients including Amazon, Qiagen, Aegon and Durst Group. As the company evolved into Expo World Group – with new divisions in Logistics, Hire and Events – the original branding remained strong and scalable.
Chris continued to support the brand over the years across websites, digital marketing, advertising, signage and stationery. That long-term relationship is rooted in results – and in trust, as Glynn Clarke puts it:
“I have now worked with Chris on several occasions and each time has been an absolute pleasure. The guys really take time to understand your company and your design needs. Chris and the team have provided us with branding, advertising, website, letterheads and business cards. We’ve had great comments from our clients on the look and feel of the company image and this is down to Chris. Whenever I get the opportunity, I will always recommend him and his team.“
